Mounting legs will attach to the base frame and underside of the panel frame in pre-determined locations to hold the solar panels and panel frames at the correct desired site specific angle position.

Complete assembly of the solar panels into the upright position from the down (shipped) position take less than three minutes. Our design allows for just as easy of a return to the down position in the event of a hurricane or storm-like condition. Units in the down position result in less than 6” of exposed freeboard for minimal wind/frontage exposure. Connections between units are stainless steel through bolts with unique rubber separators that eliminate any dissimilar metal corrosion's and allow for a small necessary independent articulation or movement of units. Complete assembly of the neighboring units from shipment to the upright and ready for electric connections should be less than ten minutes.

In addition to the transport and shipping loads, considerations will be given towards the lifting of the floating docks and environmental loading. Floating Solar platforms should be installed on closed bodies of water, not subject to vessel traffic or similar means of wake generation and that the sea conditions are limited to a very light wind induced chop.

Wind loads may include hurricane force winds up to a specified velocity, but when opportunity permits panels will be lowered to the stowed position.
